5.0 Out Of 5 Stars (1 Customer Review)Reviews for Quest 8 AT Boots - Men's by means of Salomon (Misc.) Bought these to position myself back on the slopes after a 17 yr hiatus. I used to be a sophisticated intermediate and located that even in the end the yrs, I felt like my outdated self after simply a couple of days. I opted for these after doing alot of research. Salomons - esp. within their higher-end boots - are recognized for a cosy match. I'd skied Nordica and Rossignol boots back in the day however I even have an extraordinarily "low-volume" and narrow foot and these Salomons had been simply the prescription. They cinch down nice, even with out the fourth buckle up prime. My whole ankle, heel, instep and even across the high of my feet all feel "dialed in" without being uncomfortable. The flip up/down toggle on the rear of the boot permits straightforward walking, mountain climbing, etc and "clicks" right in if you finish up able to ski. I used to be involved that the 90 Flex could be too stiff but this seems good for me. I'm now not a massive guy - 5'9" 165lbs - and althought possibly I should go softer but I'm satisfied I did not. These boots do need you to concentrate though. Fall into the again seat just a little and subsequent factor you already know you might be losin control! So I in finding these boots to be super comfy, handsome and nice performers with room for me to develop into them (performance-wise) as I "re-discover" the slopes!BTW, I found my ft have been simply heat sufficient. I wore a single merino wool/poly mix sock each days on the mountain and I found from time to time my ft may have been hotter. I do not know if this will additionally be a shortcoming of the boot or my "sock strategy" or although its enough of a concern to name it a complaint - I would not say my ft were cold, without a doubt never freezing like my arms have been with the beneath-qualified gloves I had - but I wished to jot down a thorough evaluate for those taking into consideration this great boot. I'm truly happy with them, worth the money! See ya on the slopes....
